Lots of people are self-isolating, and if you are I hope that you get this leaflet posted through your door together with an envelope of booklets for you from the Abbey. You’ll find this Sunday’s Service and two leaflets. One is about praying in the present situation and the other has ideas for worship at home. I really hope these may be useful for those who can’t get out to Church. The days are long and there is real sense of fear.

On Sunday I’ll celebrate the Eucharist early (privately) and, for those who are out-and-about there will be Holy Communion — only the bread — which I’ll distribute following a brief prayer at 9.00 am, 10.00 am, 11.00 am and 12 noon. Just come to the front of the church, keep a safe distance. Everyone should know that you are being remembered by others and that Jesus is with us all the time.
