All Souls Remembrance
All Souls this year will offer families and friends a time to bring grief and thanksgiving for loved one to the Lord. The usual All Souls service when the names of all who have died in the past year — and others who families have asked to be remembered — are offered will not be possible. Instead, families are being offered the Memorial Cross for loved ones names to be added, and a prayer-message if desired. These will be put up in the Abbey on the pillars and walls and will be kept throughout November 'till Advent.

Please contact Father Philip if you would like to recevie a Memoirial Cross — one per family, please. Return it to the Abbey — open Sundays and Wednesdays, or to the Vicarage — leave in the front porch for me to find. Also let me know of additional names to remember — easiest and safest by Email or leave a message 01827 892340. This year we can't have a list in church for names to be collected.
The Abbey will be open for candles to be lit and to see the Memoiral Crosses on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1 November 11.00 am - 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm each day. Individuals and families will be able to keep safe and it will be fine to light candles. We already have volunteers to help.
