The Ringing Roadshow to be held at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 10 September 2005 is likely to be the largest gathering of ringers of all time with up to 3000 visitors. It is a celebration of ringing in all its forms, mainly for ringers but with plenty for non-ringers to enjoy.

All the main players in the bell founding and bell hanging fields (with an international flavour) will be present together with representatives of all the Central Council committees, simulator demonstrators, mini rings (have a go), handbell orchestras, software vendors and ringing associations (including St Martins Guild). In addition there will be a programme of seminars on a variety of ringing topics.

I am arranging a coach to Newbury starting from

Solihull Station at 9.00am or

Notcutts/Tesco car park (near J4 of M42) at 9.15.

If we fill the coach it will only

cost about 10/head. (15 max)

Entry is 5, 3 child, 12Family (less 20% on our coach)

We shall leave for the return journey at 4.30pm and I

expect to be back at about 6.00pm.

If you wish to reserve a seat(s) on the coach please send a cheque for 10 before the first of July to

John Anderson

78 Rodborough Road

Dorridge

Solihull B93 8EF

Please enclose a contact address and telephone number so that I can contact you and return cheques should the trip have to be cancelled.

Please make cheques payable to John Anderson. If the cost is more than 10 I shall collect the difference on the coach.

Please support this Guild venture.
