DRUG AWARENESS The national MU are to involve us with a DRUG AWARENESS project in Britain. We look forward to hearing how we can help families locally and children and young people to reject drug culture. ST BASILS FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE There will be opportunities to support ST BASILS for homeless people in Birmingham. Volunteers are always needed. Food parcels can always be delivered to the Centre. MARRIAGE In February 2001 those who are getting married at Polesworth Abbey will be invited to think about their forthcoming wedding if we can organise a special meeting. PARENTING COURSE With your help we could offer a two-day PARENTING COURSE. Please get in touch. BABY GOWNS MU members at Polesworth Abbey continue to make BABY GOWNS for babies who are not alive at birth and knitted garments for babies who are born prematurely. These are gratefully received at the Birmingham Womens Hospital, The City Hospital and at Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield. |
